New Diet
Almost 3 years ago my sister and I went on the South Beach Diet, we both wanted to lose weight and the diet was pretty easy to adapt to, especially after the first week or two. The weight came off pretty quickly - but unfortunately my stomach did not do well with it (or my appendix for that matter) and I ended up with appendicitis and Crohn's disease. Ok - scracth the South Beach Diet.
Now, once again, I find myself with the need (and desire) to lose weight. This time I'm going with the Weight Watchers Plan and combining that with a 1-3 mile walk 3 times a week througout the neighborhood and 5-10 minutes each night on the elliptical machine - hopefully it will work.
I officially started the diet yesterday, although I've been cutting back calories & eating weight-watchers type food for a few weeks - but let me tell you this - after starting the diet yesterday - I'm Starving!!!
