Hello - Idiots!
Rant 1) Ok - I'm soooooooooooooooo sick and tired of people whining that their cars are "encased in ice". Didn't you realize that maybe during the storm you should start digging out & also that once the storm ended you needed to completely dig out again - this mean removing the snow from around your vehicles tires & shoveling the snow and ice from your driveway so you can easily get out. We dug out several times during the storm & had absoultely no problems at all getting out of the driveway & to work.
Rant 2) When the hell are people going to realie that it's super dangerous to leave the snow/ice on top of their vehicles hoods/trunks/roofs? I've heard several stories - including one from my hubby who personally witnessed this happening - of ice/snow flying off of vehicles & hitting other vehicles - smashing their windshields and causing injury. If you think about it - this ice/snow is traveling just as fast as the car is and at 55-65 miles per hour is a projectile object that can potentially cause life threatening injuries! Let's be smart people!
